Job Description:
- 10+ years previous experience in a senior IT infrastructure role is essential
- 7 years previous experience of management of teams for the following is essential #SQL Database Management and Integration to applications
- 7 years previous experience of managing teams supporting failover clustering, #SAN replication, #SQL high availability technologies, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services.
- 8+ years previous experience of delivering technology focussed projects is essential
- 8+ years working in a Financial Services environment is essential
- 5+ years previous experience of working with multiple of the following is essential: #LAN / #WAN network technologies e.g. #Cisco, #MPLS, #LES circuits, IT productivity software, (Exchange, Skype for Business etc., intranet technologies), AV Protection, Monitoring and configuration Systems ( #SCOM, #SCCM and OPManager), Windows server and desktop platforms, Database systems and associated applications, Virtualisation ( #VMware), Storage (HP SANs) and Support, IT Security (Websense, F5, Dell SecureWorks etc.).and Web Infrastructure
- 5+ years of working with cloud hosting partners (IAAS, SAAS & PAAS)
- 5+ years of managing technology experts Knowledge Expert knowledge of configuration around #SQL Server V.
- Expert knowledge of Database Management and associated tools to manage appropriately
- Expert knowledge of DB configuration, capacity management & security management
- Expert knowledge of #SQL /Application integration (inclusive of tooling available to support and monitor)
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server operating system from 2008-2016 is essential.
- Previous knowledge of banking applications (mortgage quoting, savings and lending specific) is required.

- GSCE/GCE qualifications in at least 8 subjects (inclusive both maths and English) are essential
- A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree or qualification (or 10 years + experience in a similar role) is essential.

- #ITIL V3 foundation #OSB
